Durolane Syringe Information:

DUROLANE is a biosynthetically designed hyaluronic acid that relieves pain in joints in hips and knees undergoing osteoarthritis. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that has a high concentration of synovial fluid that joints use for lubrication and cushioning. And because Durolane is a NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) product, patients with avian type allergies will be safe for treatment. Durolane treatment will be comprised of single injection of 3ml directly in the knee.

Durolane Syringe Side Effects:

Typical side effects experienced have been mild swelling and knee pain, but they are due to the injection process itself rather than Durolane. There are no side effects reported that have been caused by Durolane.

Durolane Syringe Precautions:

If you have infections or skin diseases near the injection area, you should not receive this treatment. If you are pregnant, nursing, or attempting to be pregnant, please consult your physician before using Durolane.
