Euflexxa Information:

EUFLEXXA is a treatment for patients suffering from osteoarthritis in the knee. It is designed to be similar to synovial fluid which is naturally found in the body. This synovial fluid (joint fluid) acts as the lubricant and shock absorber for the knee. Euflexxa is injected directly into the knee to act as the synovial fluid and give the knee the lubrication and shock absorbency it has lost. Treatment of Euflexxa is comprised of one injection 2ml of Euflexxa syringe administered on a weekly basis for 3 weeks

Euflexxa Side Effects:

Common side effects that have been associated with Euflexxa treatments have been skin irritation, swelling or pain around the injected area, slight tenderness, joint pain, numbness or tingling. If any of these symptoms continue to linger or worsen, please consult your physician. If an allergic reaction occurs with Euflexxa, the side effects could include difficulty in breathing, swelling of lips, tongue, throat, or face, and hives. If any of these symptoms occur, please consult your physician.

Euflexxa Precautions:

Patients with allergies to hyaluronate should not use this product. Those with skin diseases in the injection area or knee joint infections should also refuse this product.
