Juvederm is an injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid which is naturally present in the skin that contributes to its volume and smoothness. Injections of hyaluronic acid will assist in rejuvenating the skin and lips for a more youthful appearance.

Juvederm Ultra
Injected in the mid dermis, this Juvederm product fills forehead wrinkles, and to some areas where severe facial wrinkles and folds occur like the nasolabial, vertical lines between the eyebrows, and corners of the mouth. Juvederm Ultra will make your skin smoother and looking younger. Juvederm Ultra has 2 syringes of 0.8ml providing you with a total of 1.6ml. Needle size – 30G

Juvederm Ultra Plus
This product is injected into the mid to deep dermis for medium to deep lines and wrinkles such as nasolabial folds, naso genian folds and also for filling lip volume & cheek volume. Juvederm Ultra Plus has 2 syringes of 0.8ml providing you with a total of 1.6ml. Needle size – 27G

Juvederm Ultra 2
Used for correction of medium to fine lines and skin depression, as well as lip enhancement. Juvederm Ultra 2 also has the local anesthetic LIDOCAINE (0.3 %) for added comfort during and after treatment. Juvederm Ultra 2 has 2 syringes of 0.55ml providing you with a total of 1.1ml. Needle size – 30G

Juvederm Ultra 3
Used for medium to deep depressions in the facial area. This product is also used for lip enhancement and definition. Juvederm Ultra 3 also has local anesthetic LIDOCAINE (0.3%) pre-mixed in the solution. Juvederm Ultra 3 has 2 syringes of 0.55ml providing you with a total of 1.1ml. Needle size – 27G

Juvederm Ultra 4
Best used for correction of deeper depressions and wrinkles, as well as and for volume enhancement of the cheekbone area and chin. This formulation should not be injected into the frown lines (glabella) or in the areas around the eyes, as Juvederm Ultra 4 is to be used as a sculpting device. Juvederm Ultra 4 has 2 syringes of 0.8ml providing you with a total of 1.6ml. Needle size – 27G

Juvederm Side Effects:

Common side effects may occur after treatment such as pain and tenderness in the site of injection, redness, swelling, itching. These may last for a week, however, please report to your doctor if pain persists for more than a week.

Juvederm Precautions:

Juvederm should not be used by individuals with hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid and/or lidocaine. Also avoid excessive facial expression hours after your treatment. And exposure to sunlight and excessive heat should be avoided as well during the two weeks after injection. Alcohol, aspirin, and anti inflammatory drugs should not be taken 1 week before getting the treatment.
