Sculptra Information:

Derived from fruit acids instead of an animal source, Sculptra is non toxic to the human body. Sculptra is designed to improve and correct facial features by safely restoring the volume of the depressed areas such as wrinkles and folds. Sculptra will also assist to restore fullness in the areas of the temples, cheeks, chin, eye rings, and nasolabial folds. Sculptra treatment results are usually not immediate. However, the effect of the treatment is long term. Scupltra is administered to patients in 3 sessions, within a 2 to 3 month period. Results can last up to 2 years unlike other dermal fillers. Depressions may reappear after first week of first treatment but will gradually improve within several weeks. Touch up treatments may be needed to achieve and maintain best results

Sculptra Side Effects:

Side effects of Sculptra are similar to those having injection related procedures. Bleeding, swelling, redness, tenderness and pain, or even bruising in the site of injection may be experienced by the patient. Risk of infection can also be a possible side effect to individuals involved in any injection procedure. Consult your physician immediately if any uncommon side effects occur.

Sculptra Precautions:

Avoid Sculptra if you have any hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients found in the drug formula. The safety of the product has not been established to pregnant patients or nursing mothers. This product should not be injected in the site where active skin infection occur or to any inflamed area.
