Supartz Information:

Made of highly purified sodium hyaluronate, the joint fluid therapy known as SUPARTZ is designed to relieve the pain in the knee caused by osteoarthritis. Supartz is similar to the synovial fluid in the joints which acts a shock absorber, as well as a lubricant for the joint. Treatment of Supartz consists of one injection of 2.5ml syringe on a weekly basis for 5 weeks.

Supartz Side Effects:

Possible side effects after injecting Supartz could be pain and swelling, skin irritation around the injection area, and/or joint pain.

Supartz Precautions:

Before receiving Supartz treatment, speak with your doctor about any allergy you may have with eggs, birds, or any bird products. Also, if you have infections or skin diseases near the injection area, you should not receive this treatment. If you are pregnant, nursing, or attempting to be pregnant, do not use Supartz without consulting your physician first.
